EPA and Environmental
Bay Metal, Inc., located in Richfield, Ohio is a
meticulously managed and environmentally clean site.

Our greensite facility was specifically constructed
to meet and exceed all EPA requirements for secondary metal processing.
Some of the more outstanding engineering measures taken to ensure zero
environmental impact are:
-
Every pound of metal which passes through our state of the
art 60,000 sq/ft. facility is stored or processed under roof;
-
A specially designed used oil collection system captures
all residual oils from cutting or stamping scrap, which is then shipped
out to be recycled for various secondary uses;
-
A comprehensive system of drains and catch basins in our
receiving docks directs all run-off to an in-ground oil/water separator.
Storm water runoff is carefully monitored according to the engineering
standards set forth for our industry by the EPA.
Exhaustive research and comprehensive engineering ensure
that B.A.T. (Best Available Technology) standards are met. Bay Metal
Conforms to all of the EPA's industry B.M.P.'s (Best Management Practices)
as well.
Accordingly, all suppliers and customers can be
assured that there can be no past environmental infringements and no new
problems for which they can be held liable.
